Rules of Procedures Moliets Surf School
REGISTRATIONAll registrations in the Surf School are made on the registration form which must be completed by the parents or legal guardian in the case of a minor, or by the interested person in the case of an adult.
Parental consent is required for minors.
Any registration made before by email or telephone must be accompanied by a deposit payment of 30% of the total amount. The deposit can be paid by bank transfer or cheque. The remaining balance must be paid on the first day of the course. You can cancel your reservation before the 5 days of the beginning of the courses, if you cancel one of the 5 days before the beginning of the courses the deposit will be collected.
CANCELLATION OF SURF LESSONS
In case of cancellation of a surf course due to weather conditions (storm, heavy swell, lack of wave,...), or absence of the instructor we try to: Postpone the course according to your availability.
Refund the course as a voucher to be filled in the BYTHEWAVE surfshop.
In case of cancellation of a surf course on your part due to medical or justifiable reasons:
The course will be refunded with a medical certificate.
The person who is supposed to practice can be replaced by a person of your choice
RESPONSIBILITY OF THE STRUCTURE
Trainees and students will be taken care of by the BYTHEWAVE Surf School, under the responsibility of its instructors.
Before leaving their child at the Surf school, parents must ensure that the planned service is actually provided. Students are strongly advised not to bring valuables (money, telephone, watches, jewellery, etc.) to the Surf School. The surf school declines all responsibility in the event of loss or theft of its objects on its premises.
INSURANCE
All persons registered at the Surf School will systematically be issued a Federal Licence including in particular Civil Liability, Personal Accident, Assistance and Recourse cover, the terms of which are described in the ALLIANZ contract (French Surf Federation) made available by the structure, as well as a civil liability insurance from the surf school. The school license offers these guarantees only during teaching hours. However, the Surf School draws the member's attention to his interest in subscribing to a personal insurance policy with the insurer of his choice, covering personal injury to which the practice of sport may expose him.
COMMITMENT OF THE BYTHEWAVE SURF SCHOOL
Within the framework of the chosen package, the BYTHEWAVE Surf School undertakes to respect the Quality Charter of the "Ecole Française de Surf" label in terms of quality of welcome, teaching, supervision and safety.
The necessary equipment (wetsuit, board,...) will be provided to members during class hours.
COMMITMENT OF MEMBERS
By registering at BYTHEWAVE Surf School, the minor surfer and their parents accept the risks associated with surfing under normal conditions.
The student declares to be in good health, able to swim 25 metres underwater and able to surf.
TRANSPORT OF STUDENTS (IF A VEHICLE IS USED AS PART OF THE SERVICES OFFERED)
The BYTHEWAVE surf school is committed to ensuring the transport of students in compliance with the regulations in force:
Licensed drivers required
Vehicle insurance coverage
Respect of the maximum number of passengers
Clean and in good condition vehicle (mandatory revisions)
IMAGE RIGHTS
By registering, you authorize BYTHEWAVE Surf School to use the photos and/or videos of your image taken during your lessons to produce all the advertising materials of the surf school (flyer, website, social media) without any financial compensation.
